I have abig black US Robotics Courier HST Dual Standard. Upon AT connect it
seUpon carrier detect it sends on connect it sends a clear screen and then
stops maybe some jibberish random letters or codes, and that's it.

I assume you mean codes like E0V1F1Q0X4B0???
