I wouldn't necessarily count on them lasting longer than 5.25" disks.
About 
5 years ago I took over as our user groups IIgs software librarian. What
a 
mess, almost 100 of the 450 disks had problems. We had a backup library
but 
it had about the same percentage of bad disks. Using various means I
recovered 
most of it, bought a CD burner and put them on CDs. I guess I really
should 
do the same with my own floppies.
