AE Conserver Q's

I have been redesigning a filter and switching circuit to suit Australian
240V operation in my circuit board-less AE Conserver for quite some time.
I ran into a problem of physically fitting in 3x 10Amp switches in my
design, but have only just got around to working out how I was going to fit
everything in, which I have just completed in the last week.

I lost the details on the operation of the unit...

The front panel has 3 power switches.
The Left switch operates the rear left outlet [/].
The Centre switch operates the centre four rear outlets [*].
The Right switch operates the rear right outlet [//].

my questions:

1. Does the left and right switches operate their respective outputs
independantly even if the centre switch is off ?

2. Does the internal Fan operate only when the centre switch is on, or will
it work with just the left or right switch on ?

 Also I'd be interested to know if there was anyone else interested in
getting one converted, as might be able to arrange a small run of circuit
boards after I get the prototype working.
