I wish! No, unfortunately, all this is, is a Localtalk on a card option. It
is for networking a Apple //e into a Localtalk network usualy via a server
boot on a Mac from Appleshare 2.0 (dedicated System 6 based Appleshare running
on a SE or SE/30), or Appleshare 3.0 or 3.0.3 (which runs underSYstem 7.1
through 7.5.5. It allows the //e to boot into ProDOS from a Mac without
floppy, or, with the 5.25 floppys set up propperly you can boot then use the
ProDOS finder to connect to attached Macs.
For IP on a Mac you need either 1 a LANceGS (cool card that!) or, one of the
semi-mythical Apple ethernet cards. For a discussion of these from one who
knows... see Tony Diaz's very well written discussion at
http://www.apple2.gs/AIIEthernet.html
