Having ran a BBS since 1987, I know a little about
that. The SysOp must know who is using his
system. Some allow instant access, mine does it
you are local and the system can call you back.

I had a user who would log one new, when he was
validated, he would start mailing all the users on
my system; Thats right SPAM on a BBS. I deleted
him. He then would call back using a different
handle, but the same real name and telephone
number. I had to block him. Hr was a teen and
finally I called his parents, the did nto seem to
understand, but said they would keep him off, which
they did. He did this to other system, much
later I saw him on the net and guess what he was
no longer a teen and was spamming.

You have to know who is using your system.
