My Applicard is (was? I still have it, I just haven't used it in a long
while) a Franklin-branded 6MHz version, and it's worked fine in a IIe
and a IIgs. (With, if I recall correctly, the slot set to normal speed
for booting.)
I did have problems with the pre-IIe versions of the Microsoft Softcard
in the IIe. (Some of the issues were documented in Sather's
_Understanding the IIe_?)
