I think I have pascal on my Profile. It might be that it was installed using Catalyst, which, as you may know, allows for installation of copy protected software on a Profile.
I have forwarded your post to the fellow who set up my /// for me. Perhaps he can do more for you.

Given that Apple /// Pascal uses SOS, I would think so, but have no idea.
I still presume I'd have to boot from a floppy but am thinking that I could
have the rest of the Apple /// Pascal files in a subdirectory on the
Profile, and redirect the software to look for the files there.
