Your board is possibly a floppy disk controller card. Central Point at one
time marketed the "Laser" disk drive interface under their name. That seems
like an awfully early date, though.
The card I am speaking of was a fairly small board and had two D-connectors
for later-style drives. It gave generic 3.5-inch drive capability to any
Apple II, even the lowly II+. Also, you could daisy-chain drives. It was a
great card and I used one in both my II+ and IIe. I had one each a "Laser"
board and a Central Point board that came bundled with Copy II+.
