I must admit I am being a perfectionist. It's hard for me to accept
anything less than perfect video quality, especially when my LCD screen
usually displays such crisp images from my PC video card, in both VGA and
DVI input modes!
The image quality actually is pretty good, even with the XRGB-2plus.
However it's definitely better with the XRGB-2, just like the guy in that
XRGB-2plus review states when he slams the "dot clock" on the plus model.
The way I understand it is that the XRGB-2/plus digitize the incoming video
signal and then upscan it and reoutput it to VGA/XVGA. Guess with all these
ADC/DAC conversions a bit of noise gets introduced. But it's not that bad,
and even less so on the non-plus.
I have taken a bunch of photos but need a bit more time to post them to the
web.
