This may help. I've converted two 5.25" diskettes-- a DOS 3.3 and a
ProDOS (v1.9) disk-- to 2MG form using Asimov2 on a IIgs. The disks were
transferred to PC using a NULL modem connection, zipped via WinZIP, and
uploaded to GS WorldView's archive.
The DOS 3.3 2mg disk image file is TNILUTIL_2mg.zip (the image is in
DOS 3.3 order).
The ProDOS 2mg disk image file is PDUTIL_2mg.zip (the image is in
ProDOS order).
You can find the files at http://www.apple2.org.za/gswv/a2zine/Utils/ .
After downloading, use WinZIP to unzip each file to get the .2mg disk
image.
Don't know anything about XGS or how well the images will work; but,
it will be interesting to find out.
