You don't have to do that.  A properly-designed website will be indexed by
Google whenever their robots get around to it; no action is needed on your
part for your site to start showing up in the various search engines that
exist (though Google is the only one that really matters, IMHO).  If you
don't want your pages indexed, set up robots.txt with instructions of what
to index or not index.
