Important Message Regarding the Fairway...

Can I bring everyone's attention to the amount of downloads that are going
on at the moment? Hard Code (the server admin) has let me know that
bandwidth usage is fast becoming too much of a strain on the server and
unless things change soon, the Fairway might no longer have a home.

I'm delighted that so many people visit the Fairway (although more people
visit than help out or write in) but the bottom line is at this rate things
are going to become unsustainable.

To ease the burden, download ONLY the games you are interested in. Secondly,
download ONLY the format you're intending to use i.e. if you plan to play
the games with an emulator, you only need to download the 2image archive. If
you plan on playing the game on a real IIgs, download either only the
ShrinkIt archive or the 2image archive (and convert the 2image archive on
the IIgs using Asimov 2.0). Don't suck the contents of the entire site using
utilities that allow you to do so.

If things don't change, the Fairway might be lost...forever.  If the Fairway
is lost however, this will not have any bearing on the two new IIgs archives
currently being worked on.
