Well the most common way is to do just that. Print the database to a
comma delimited text file. The file could them be transferred to
another platform or OS then imported by most DB software. The
instructions for such a transfer depend on your software.
Unfortunately, I do nto have GEOS database database handy so I can't be
more specific.
