I did a bit of detective work and......
 One thing common to all those spams was the expression "tgos".  Well, tgos.org 
is a site that has a disclaimer "We didn't send them!!" about spam messages 
found on usenet groups with the tag "@tgos".  But... those folks seem quite 
familiar with Usenet, so I snooped round their site.  
Site seems to be devoted to folks that hang out on a group named.  
"alt.hentai.sailor-moon"  or: risque pics based on a well known Japanese 
cartoon show.

Drek.  but not dangerous drek I would guess...
