Last night I was reading the Apple IIc hardware refference manual and was
amazed by the smartport capabilities. I didn't know that the smartport in my
IIc can handle 126 ($7E) devices of 8Gb each (yes, 8 gigabytes): 2^24
(16,777,216) blocks of 512 bytes. It was quite far away from its time, since
ProDos can only address 2^16 (65,536) blocks of 512 bytes.
Yeah, I love my IIc.
