It's interesting.  

I purchased the first Amiga 1000 sold in Virginia in autumn of '85.  
There was a major dearth of software for quite a while, and it was 
distressing.  Seeing Apple's ads in the back of A+ for the IIe (I had a 
//c before the Amiga) with the UniDisk 3.5 and Quark Catalyst on the 
screen prompted me to sell the Amiga in Feb '86 and grab a full IIe 
system w/ DuoDisks, that new Apple Color Composite monitor, and a 
UniDisk with Quark Catalyst.  I had a great time with that system.

Ahh the memories.
