I have over 33 megs of Apple II files that used to be on my BBS in the early
90s. Rather than let comp.binaries.apple2 be overrun by a bunch of morons
with offtopic material (not to mention that their stuff is probably of
questionable legality), I've put together a scheme by which I can post my
Apple II stuff in batches. I've started with BBS and communications
software for 8-bit IIs (primarily the IIe/IIc/IIc+, though some will work
with the II+ and it'll all work with the IIGS). Summary descriptions of the
files will be posted here, while the files themselves will be posted in
comp.binaries.apple2. All files are BinSCII'd ShrinkIt archives. Most are
file archives, though a few will be disk archives.
If you're sitting on interesting and/or useful Apple II software, I'd
encourage you to post it as well.
(BTW, the first couple of batches have my email address and name reversed in
the header. I'm posting through my Linux box with a shell script I threw
together that creates messages and pipes them directly to inews. I've
corrected the scripts so that future postings should be correct.)
