Recently my 60mb Focus HD died. I bought a 170 meg drive, plugged it onto
the card (4 screws), mananged (didn't know I needed system 6) to get the
focusformat utility going, partitioned the drive, found a backup on a
SyQuest of my old HD (very fortunate to have this), booted from this
SyQuest, copied files from SyQuest to first partition of Focus (think I
had to format via GS/OS too). Poof. Think I'm rolling.
So, backup your Focus using a bootable removable, don't fret if the HD
fails because (except of needing system 6 for Focusformat) the replacement
is pretty easy and very cheap.
