Re: SHK Image files?

I think Shrink II by Eric Shepherd will do that, check out Syndicomm site to
see. You probably won't need nulib.
Personally I would use the GS Shrinkit 1.1 on your Apple IIGS to make the
disks if you can get the *.SHK files across to your GS first.

Please forgive the newbie questions, I'm simply eager to get software
running on my IIgs - mainly Kings Quest, which was my absolute favourite
game when I was a kid.

I've come across two SHK files for the game and used nulib on my PC to
uncompress them. Now, what do I use on my MAC to write these files to an
800k disk? I'm assuming this is an image file of some sort however Disk
Copy doesn't like it.

Thanks, Brad

Time to get a hard drive. :-)
I've tried transfering files to the GS, but in order to read my Mac formatted 800K disk, I need the HFS file system installed on my boot disk. I try to update it, but I'm short 4K! Arg

I would try to format a ProDOS disk with my LC III, but it has System 7.1 on it and will only format Mac 800K and PC 720K disks. Is there a way of formatting/using ProDOS disks with System 7.1?
