Re: How to contact Douglas Gum, TO.Programmer?

<< Jay. I have the manual. If you have a specific question, I'd be happy to
help you.

The manual is mostly a brief overview of statistics.

Nothing specific at the moment, Jim. I do a lot of standardized educational
testing as a special education teacher and the testing that's available for me
to use doesn't always recognize, or even test, what the regular education
teacher sees as a problem in the classroom. I've done manual misread word
counts, then input them into AppleWorks and used TimeOut modules to
alphabetize, eliminate duplicate words, list frequency of misread words, and
then used TimeOut Graph to display the results in a form that a committee can
understand instantly. When I came across Douglas Gum's three TO.Statistics
modules, I thought "FINALLY, I can do everything on the Apple II, as Woz
intended. I've always found the TimeOut Manuals to be informative to the point
of preventing lots of little mistakes when learning how to use them and I was
hoping for some of the same from this one. I had statistics at the graduate
level in college, but it's been a while and some of the choices in the modules
are unfamiliar. If Douglas isn't available and I can't find a copy on ground
somewhere, I'd like to get a copy of the manual for myself.
