Steve,
I tried to replicate your problem without success.
If I uncheck the box - mount on startup - in the Appleshare Control Panel,
the volumes are not loaded on subsequent re-boots. Doesn't matter whether I
trash the drive or not, it will not load next time if it is un-checked.
I have the -save my password box - checked.
I also tried to uncheck - save finder preferences - but that had no effext
either.
I assume you system is shutting down properly, if so maybe you GSOS is
corrupted somehow ???
