Re: ADT Question
Sorry about the lack of detail; Here's a more detailed version of my
request:
I have an Apple IIgs with no system software. I don't have a super serial
card. The only thing I have is the round modem connector on that back and
also the 9pin game port. The ADT docs are confusing about the pin numbering
on the round modem connector, I don't know which #'s represent which pins
are physically on the connecotr...
...so I tried ap2222pc and Apple II oasis, a utility to use the game port to
transfer data, but the schematics are confusing. Do I connect the 25 pin
cable to the internal game port connector (see other post with just the pic
attached), or the external 9 pin one? Looking at the docs for Apple II disk
server (part of apple II oasis) and the ap2222pc docs (lineconn.doc), since
they both show a chip socket type connector such as the one on my IIgs mobo,
I'm assuming that's where I connect it to, but I'm not sure. Please help, I
just want to make sure that I'm not gonna fry my GS...
PS: Pics or uploads of the two schematics to building the cable for both
utils are availible upon request.
