First, I simply spelled "hobby-ists" to emphasize the straightforward
derivation from "hobby"--of course the correct spelling is "hobbyists".

Second, I was referring to my mental spell checker, not a program.
I'm one of those individuals plagued by the inability to turn off
"proofreading mode".  ;-)
