Nothing changed with the advent of the IIgs.  My manual explains how to
connect the printer to the IIgs (duh), and to use default settings in
the IIgs control panel, but that's it.

The default switch settings should work fine.

SW1-1  Open
SW1-2  Open
SW1-3  Open
These three select American English as the printer language.

SW1-4  Open (11 inch form length)

SW1-5  Open (no perforation skip)

SW1-6  Closed
SW1-7  Open
This combination selects 12 characters per inch.  Open/Open is 10 cpi,
Open/Closed is 17 cpi, Closed/Closed is 160 dpi proportional.

SW1-8  Open (carriage return generates carriage return only)

SW2-1  Closed
SW2-2  Closed
These two select 9600 baud.

SW2-3  Open (Use hardware handshaking)

SW2-4  Open (Option card disabled)
If you have the LocalTalk card installed, this switch should be closed.

Don't touch SW2-5 and SW2-6.  They are set at the factory and control
the timing of the hammer firing mechanism in the head.

In the IIgs control panel, default values should be used for the printer
port settings.

You might need to fiddle with the Carriage Return handling options,
depending on your software.  The best choice is to leave the printer set
for CR-only, and use the software itself or the IIgs control panel to
send line feeds, as it is easy to change these settings for the
occasional program which doens't behave the same way as others.
