Usually a board like that has jumpers to tell it how much RAM is installed.
You can also troubleshoot it by selecting just the first bank, and see if
your problem goes away. If it does, enable the second bank and try again,
etc. Once you know which bank is causing the problem, you can swap half the
chips out, then half again, etc. to find the bad chip/s.  You could also use
this method to verify any bad chips identified by a RAM test program.

One of the other chips could also be at fault, but the odds favor one or
more memory chips.
