   Bah. A computer geek would never stoop so low as to do something
that simple. There must be a way to make the computer so big as to
double as a desk! Seriously though, having most of the components
inside a case is just considered the norm these days. Could you
imagine the average pc if all of it's components were scattered
across the desk? Ewwww. Wall wart frenzy.
   Hrmm.. actually, the more I think about it.. the more this
desk might be modified to have a IIgs in it. I could mount the
monitor askew under a glass plate in the center. Maybe put the
computer in a drawer. Cut out a vent in the back. Oh yeah. Maybe
this case idea wasn't a good thing to start out on... =)
