   Right, the Atari joysticks are built differently.  But I always was under
the impression the resistor value of the pot inside the Apple and the PC
joystick was different.  PC used a 150k ohm pot, the Apple used a 50k ohm, for
example.  I know I used to see joysticks with a switch on the bottom to switch
from PC to Apple operation.

  I have a few joysticks, and see them fairly often in the thrift stores around
here.
