Tom has driven no one from Csa2 or anywhere else. Just the opposite.
His efforts have made huge quantities of software and information available
to users:

o- AOL's Apple II collection (good thing _somebody_ thought to get AOL's
   approval to save it)
o- the 202 Alliance collection
o- collection of Echo sound board software
o- revived efforts to reclassify software to public domain
o- scanned and published the original Red Book manual
o- the Glen Bredon collection (Merlin Assemblers, ProSel, ... including
   reclassification to public domain)
o- 65832 and many other docs
o- many pieces of IIgs music software and music
o- Word Perfect (including reclassification to public domain)
o- 1WSW collection
o- established Cabi-net (which eventually became Tarnover under Celt)
o- published A2-2000 on-disk magazine
o- published GS WorldView

There is a lot more. And, the list does not cover all those times
Tom would help someone looking for some weird piece of software or hardware.

One way or another, Tom is probably responsible for attracting more
new Apple II users than anyone else currently involved in Apple II computing.

As mentioned, Tom has left before and then changed his mind and returned.
I hope he gets some R&R, recharges, and returns again.
