I think this is a _very_ good thing.  CSA2 is not supposed to be the
Geraldo Show.  It's supposed to be a place where people with a
shared interest in a wonderful old system can get together to help
each other out.  Invective and emotional outbursts may be "interesting",
but this is not the place for them.

Maybe alt.rockem-sockem-robots would be the place to go for that.

When newcomers (or recent returners) find this newsgroup, and
lurk for a while to sample the atmosphere, the once-pervasive
presence of hateful diatribe was a certain turn-off.  (Unless they
were the kind of personality that "just loves" to watch a fight--in
which case, we were attracting the wrong audience.)

This is not a legal forum, nor a tabloid, nor a cat fight (!)--it's
a forum for interested Apple II users of all experience levels
to share their Apple-related experience for our mutual benefit.
Let's keep it that way.  ;-)
