Re: Joystick for IIe platinum

Hey,

Thanks to all for the insight.

I ended up finding a great joystick at a local pawn shop for $1.00, and it
works great - plugs right into the DB9 on the back of the IIe. It's even
got a button on the top of the joystick, in addition to the one on the base.
Has adjustments on the bottom for "springyness", centering, and range.

I hooked the IIe up to my 32" trinitron, and WOW! What fun with the old
games.

It is quite astounding that such an old piece of technology had such great
sound and color visuals!

Too bad about all the decayed floppies that were sitting in storage for
nearly 20 years, but still half of them still work great.

Gonna hunt down some more soon.

Thanks again to everyone for the help!

Norm.
