Sounds like you need a comm program for your IIgs. Once you have that, and a
null-modem cable, you can connect your Amiga and IIgs and easily transfer
files between them. Do you have access to a Mac with a SuperDisk? That
would be an 030 or 040 Mac. A Mac of that type, running System 7.5X can
easily transfer files to ProDos formatted floppies which your IIgs can read.
I use an old shareware Apple II comm program called Agate, which is
available in the archives. You will also need some programs like Shrinkit,
ShrinkitGS, etc to extract archives. The faq has a lot of detail on this.
