First, thanks to all who responded to my IIgs/Newbie post. After high
school, I abandoned the Apple in 1988 and moved forward with the PC
rather than using the Mac, so admittedly "resource fork" & "data fork"
are very near Chinese to me (I'm assuming they come to play in the Mac
world, or at least they did at one time).
With that in mind, I have a couple of questions if someone is so
inclined to help out a self confessed IIgs moron.
How could one transfer either .2mg images or .shk/.sdk files from a PC
to the IIgs? If I had access to a Mac with OS X, would I be able to
write to a ProDos disk?
While I haven't tried yet, according to ADT 1.22's instructions, it is
only good for transferring 140k .dsk images (which does work
superbly), so I am assuming it would not transfer the 819k .2mg files
to an 800K disk?
Finally, are there any online resources for System 6.0.1? FAQ, online
manuals, anything?
Thanks,
Kevin Dunigan
