How to revive my dead Apple //e

I recently pulled my old Apple //e from the closet and unfortunately
when I flip the power switch I don't get the familiar beep and
chugging of the drives like I used to enjoy as a kid - total silence.
Originally I wasn't getting video output, but it magically started
working and the monitor shows it doing the familiar self test then I
actually get the "Kernel OK" message. That's all she'll do for now.

Now my question, are there any general things I can do that may help
bring it back to life? Anything I can clean or something to replace
that often breaks that could cause this? I've grown up with this
thing and have had it wrapped in plastic bags and stored in cool, dry
places for some time and haven't used it in years but it was working
fine when I tucked it away. After opening the case up and looking
inside I don't see any obvious signs of damage so I'm hoping maybe a
good cleaning will help and was hoping some of you with more
experience could give me a starting pointer or two.

Even a good website with repair tips would be great.

Thanks,
Trent
