Thnak you Mike, but, what I am looking for is one that was re-written by (I
think) a lady named Marsha. It fixes a few things such as upper/lower case
identification in the login sequence...but also (unfortunately) seems to have
a memory difficulty as well. At least is seems so to me:
When I run it from my Vulcan drive on a ROM 3 it will work till I return to
Finder after running any program on a network drive and.. at that point icons
apear with smudges, folders are unreadable, lines through drives..etc.
Everything seems to WORK ok, but, the display memory is kinda wonky.
anyway...
I have used both Appleshares depending on need and use. My problem is I
loaded Salvation and it hosed my boot drive. Then I reinstalled 6.0.1 via the
install set I have and in the process, overwrote the "new" Appleshare.
I still have hopes that it will be part of the answer in a eventual Apple IIGS
to OS X communications link via Appletalk.
Incidentally, I discovered something today on that score and will post it in
another message.
