This is the PC Transporter's video output which is misbehaving?
Which method are you using to get video out of the PC Transporter?
(Composite, CGA digital video, or Analog RGB via the ColorSwitch card)
What are the specifications of your ZipGS (CPU speed, cache
configuration)?

I don't know what is happening here, but it isn't a general
incompatibility - my IIgs (ROM 3) has both a ZipGS and PC Transporter,
and a friend also had the same combination, and neither of us ever saw a
problem like the one you describe.
I forget whether I got my PC Transporter while I was still using a ROM 1
IIgs (which also had a ZipGS), but it is quite likely.

If the ZipGS is enabled, certain system tests will always fail (the
timing is wrong). Disabling the Zip (with the appropriate DIP switch)
should allow the tests to pass.
