In that case, I think Andrea is up that well known creek without a motivation 
device. It does sound like the Low Level Format  on a ProFILE is beyond mere 
human endevor these days. 
 I say "Low Level" in comparisson to the PC DOS "FORMAT C:"  vs the Maxtor, 
Conner etc  special format programs(with names like "LLF.COM"), and the low 
level format built into some earlier x86 board BIOS (AWARD in the 486 EISA had 
one) all for IDE.
  I realize the parallel-like aproach (Widget) of the ProFILE is quite 
different. I really don't understand it. I just use it ;)
