That is the "Apple II Memory Expansion Card".

Assuming you are using ProDOS: nothing at all. Insert it in a spare
slot, boot ProDOS, and you will find that you have a disk called /RAMn,
where n is the slot number.

If you want to use it in DOS 3.3, you boot DOS as normal, then use the
IN#n command, where n is the slot number containing the card.

For GS/OS, you get best performance if you have the A2.RAMCARD driver
installed on your startup disk, but the card will work without it.

Copying files is just like any other drive - use whatever software you
normally use to copy files.

If you want to _boot_ from the RAM card (with ProDOS), one extra step is
required: you must format the RAM disk using disk utility software
(which will install the startup code in the RAM disk's boot sectors).
This must be done before copying files to the disk, because formatting
will wipe whatever is on the disk.

You will also need to copy the file called PRODOS onto the RAM disk, and
your normal startup application or program selector (probably a SYS file
with a name ending with ".SYSTEM").
