A good point. And of course the heaviest draw is right when your floppy
drive starts up and you first start writing to it. I used to keep an eye
out for clones, some of them used 65 watt power supplies. Apple used 35W
power supplies. With one exception I guess. Some of the platinum IIes
came with the same 70w power supply as used in the IIgs. Only difference
was the connector. Unfortunately none of mine came with that power
supply but a couple of friends machines did.
