As for binary compat, I was aiming more for software emulation through
the new chip, but it would be possible to lay the 816 on the board and
run through it.
There might be issues with Apple, but since the Apple II lineup has
been off their radar for over 10 years, and I'm not touching their OS,
and their CPU is Western Digital (Third Party)...I can't see it
happening. For a hobby system?

I gotta piece this thing together first, and even with my employees
and friends, THAT'S gonna be work. I just wanted to see if there was
any support for it.

Also, the 68040 isn't binary compatible with the 65816, and I've never
heard of one running at 300 MHz, so is this maybe a belated April fool's
