Focus drive "activity lights" on title bar of GS/OS 6.0.1

Hi,

I have a Focus 170MB HD on its controller card installed in my ROM III Apple
IIGS

Is there any way (other than to remove the Focus driver, which would slow
the HD disk access to an unacceptable speed) to remove the little "activity
lights" that appear on the far right of the title bar when the Focus HD is
being accessed while running GS/OS (I'm running 6.0.1)?
If one needs to patch or somehow get into the Focus driver to make these
changes, where can I find the program in question on the Internet (I can
then transfer it onto my IIGS as I have the appropriate Apple II 3.5" disk
controller and 3.5" drive connected to my IIGS).
