I wonder if there is any way to tell what combinations of inputs the
logic simply doesn't care about?  I.e., there's a "valid" output, but
knowing the circuit, and knowing that the combinations of inputs could
never exist in the circuit, the output doesn't matter....  That may
reduce things a bit...

Also, if one PAL feeds another, would that knowledge help reduce
things?

I'm shooting in the dark here, but hopefully an idea will germinate
:-)

I asked David to send them to me privately, but I think posting them
may be a good idea... Others can get involved, and we can compare
notes...  Of course, it's his decision, since he's doing the work....
