Your problems don't seem to match up with the way the keyboard's wired.
Especially the left shift key, it's wired in parallel to the right
shift key right so it pretty well has to be a faulty key switch.
All of those keys are mechanical switches so the easiest way to see
if it's a key switch problem or something else is to remove the top.
Then turn it upside down beside the IIe with it still plugged into
the IIe. Every key switch is soldered onto the circuitboard at two
spots about 3/8th inch apart. Just short together the two pins for
a non working key and see if something comes up on the display.
