I have done the hardware and compiled the low level program to read a sector
sucessfully on a WD Caviar 280 IDE harddisk I savage from a PC. I am still
in the progress of compiling the high level disk manager program by Stephane
using CC65 and get the final code downloaded to my IIe via SSC. I am still
a bit stuck here as I havent yet get the Kermit working on my IIe. My only
program that work with SSC is ADT.

If you are interested in doing the project, get in touch with Stephane and
from my past correspondance with him, I found him friendly and helpful.

Cheers,

Allen.
