Yes, the part in question is an IWM.

Makes me wonder. . .
The 6502 I have from my unenhanced ][e is marked "370-6502". The 65C02
that came with the //c bears its original NCR markings. The 65C02 out of
the platinum //e board I acquired has the same treatment (this one from
CMD)
It probably is a CPU of some sort, and Apple's playing tricks to keep
competitors guessing.
