Good point. What I had in mind with my idea of multi-selecting changing of
file types and aux types is relatively trivial and does not warrant a port
of any kind from VS6 which I don't think I've even used since David Schmidt
and Andy made the last changes, and I compiled CiderPress just for the
hellery of it at that time.

I'm sure we will all have VMs to run CiderPress if we need them. There
really isn't any point in breaking Andy's packaging either... that was one
of their concerns when the last changes were made.

Accessibility to everyone is also the reason I still write most of my Aztec
C toys using the last 16 bit cl compiler (8.00c - 1993) that Microsoft
provided with Visual C++, Version 1.53. MS-DOS emulators seem to be
everywhere.

We can probably go softly into the night with this stuff, unless something
really stupid happens like a meteor shower, a great flood, or 4 guys on
horses trample all the geeks.

When DOSBox failed, Daniel Strang (hippo) was able to use Virtual Box and
FreeDOS 1.1 under Windows 7 with the first Aztec C compiler for the
Commodore 64 (which I distribute from my website as Aztec64). The last
update to that was in 1985 as near as I can tell until I tweaked the hell
out of it for some strange reason.

So there is likely still hope for Win32 and AFX.

The burning question to you however has more to do with Turkey Day PLASMA
Fun! Did you ever do any more with Plasma II? (ducks)
