Hi Ric,

That is exactly what I have wanted to do in CiderPress many times but I 
always forget to remember these things, so thanks for reminding me.  This 
looks like lots of work and changes to the ViewFilesDialog (if I am 
correct).  This is a viewer and reformatter as it stands now.

Have a look for yourself, and you will probably see what I mean. If you want 
to muck with this yourself and see what you can do send me private mail...

I am not sure about AppleCommander... I haven't done anything with java in 
about 15 years so I'll leave that alone.

I wonder if one could call this feature a "Byte Bagger" Dialog:) Maybe 
not...
