Currently the best tool I have for importing graphics into Apple ][ space
is IIGIF. Unfortunately, it has some very particular assumptions about
the graphics that, while suitable for its purpose as a GIF viewer, fall
flat when used as a conversion tool. (I do my graphics in The GIMP.)
Is there some tool that isn't as likely to destroy the image? Like, if I
give it an orangey or red color, it'll render it as solid orange (or red
if DHGR), and not try to approximate the actual hue?
