Q & E (quick and easy) commands are commands that you would probably not need very often, but sure are handy to have around when you do. Or, they are just commands that do one thing, and they do it well. Under this category are a few disk commands that deal with a file or volumes' header information and not directly with the file itself.
POP (#) - backs up one or a number of directories
SETINFO - allows the change of the 3 most important attributes. Aux type, file type and file attributes byte. Mousetext characters, simple navigation and number entry make changing attributes very quick and easy. As a note: The reserved bytes of the file attribute byte have been designated to recognize: invisible, compressed and encrypted files.
DIR - same as CATALOG but with hard drive and folder mousetext characters. The prefix is always visible when the files scroll off the screen, and a total file count and blocks used count for the current directory being cataloged, is displayed at the end of the catalog.
UNDELETE - select from a list of all deleted files in the current directory with percent chance of recovery.
SORTDIR - allows you to organize files and folders in any sequence - alphabetical, or by file type
ONLINE - displays volumes online as well as their free blocks count
DCAT - catalogs Dos 3.3 disks
DIRFAT - catalogs a FAT disk used on PC's
CHECKDISK - checks a disk for media errors and locks out blocks
ID - tells what computer or ROM in the emulator you are currently using. The program can return a code to an applesoft program to use as a flag if needed.
EJECT (sd) - can eject a disk from the designated slot and drive
FORMAT (sd) - formats a disk in the designated slot and drive
RAMDISCONNECT - disables the auxiliary RAM as a RAM disk
SLEEP - similates a sleep by turning the borders, text and background all to black. A keypress will recover the screen
All commands mentioned above are completed. Commands that are not complete include
DIRHFS - catalog an HFS disk used on Macs
MOVE - moves a file to another directory and deletes the original if it is on the same drive. Otherwise performs a copy to an other hard drive
