Asimov Additions - Productivity Pile (09.07.12); 44 disk images uploaded

Hi,

Well, they can't all be games. I ran through the 'productivity' list of images and found several more to add. I still have 'utilities', 'terminal', and file-based games left to do (the latter being a big list).

]HR

AUTOWORKS.dsk - by Alan Bird (this is not Beagle Bros. though). Version 1.2, July 18, 1986.

BANKSTREET_SPELLER_S1_hr.dsk - this version retains the utility program that came with the original. It also has the distinction of having an early crack screen, and a secret key I had forgotten about (and isn't in the secret keys list either).
BANKSTREET_SPELLER_S2_hr.dsk

BANKSTREET_WRITER_ENH_hr.dsk - I had three different versions of this: Enhanced, //c, and the original. The original has a tutorial with it too. These versions also retain the utility program that came with program, so I thought I'd just include them all.
BANKSTREET_WRITER_IIC_hr.dsk
BANKSTREET_WRITER_OLD_hr.dsk
BANKSTREET_WRITER_TUTORIAL_hr.dsk

BOOKENDS_V1.0_48K.dsk - 1983, Jonathan Ashwell, Sensible Software.
BOOKENDS_V2.04_hr.dsk - ProDOS version, 1984. These are a reference management system.

DATA_FACTORY_5.0_S1.dsk - 1982 from Micro Lab. A database.
DATA_FACTORY_5.0_S2.dsk

DESK_CALENDAR_II_f.dsk - single file program that provides a calendar. Looks like it would support a clock card.

EXEC_BRIEF_SYS_FONTS_hr.dsk - The Executive Briefing System, 1981 Lotus Development. Before there was PowerPoint, there was this.
EXEC_BRIEF_SYS_hr.dsk

HABAMERGE.dsk - an AppleWorks-like program for form letters and mailing labels.

HOMEWARD_V1.1(vol04).2mg - there's a .nib image on Asimov; here's an old crack a friend of mine did (which was on a disk with a volume number of 4, so I just used a .2mg file instead of converting it to 255).

INFORMATION_MASTER_hr.dsk - 1979, High Technology Software Products, by James Cox and Stephen Williams. Version 5.0. Seems to be a software inventory system.

JANE_BLACK_DATA.dsk - Jane is an integrated productivity application from Arktronics, 1984. Includes JaneWrite, JaneCalc, and JaneList. Graphics based, mouse support, etc. The demo is fun to watch. This is when Apple II software started to try to look like Mac software.
JANE_DEMO(vol01).2mg
JANE_GRAY_SYSTEMS(vol01).2mg
JANE_YELLOW_HELP.dsk

JEEVES_DEMO.dsk - Jeeves is billed as the Affordable Personal Assistant, and was written by Dav Holle, 1985 PBI Software. (Dav Holle also did Sherwood Forest, Masquerade, and a few other Apple titles). This is only the demo for Jeeves. I think it wants a mouse to run; in AppleWin, even with a mouse configured in slot 4, it says it's not equipped to run.

MAGICALC_2.0.dsk - the documentation for this seems to be on Asimov, but not the program. Here's the program.

MECC_DATA_HANDLER_hr.dsk - hmm, another MECC disk that doesn't seem to be on Asimov. This is rev. 02/10/83. The title just seems to be 'DATA HANDLER'.

MULTISCRIBE_V2.0_S1.dsk - this is version 2.0, which seems different than the one on Asimov.
MULTISCRIBE_V2.0_S2.dsk

ON_BALANCE_S1.dsk - 1986 Broderbund, by David Eisler. Side1 is the program, side2 is the Export Utility (for AppleWorks data).
ON_BALANCE_S2.dsk

PFS_CONVERT_hr.dsk - I had a number of the PFS series; these seemed to be missing (Convert, ProDOS version of File; Report; Sort).
PFS_FILE_PRODOS_hr.dsk
PFS_REPORT_hr.dsk
PFS_SORT_WORK_hr.dsk

PINPOINT_RAM_ENH.dsk - RAM Enhancement Kit for Pinpoint.
PINPOINT_SPELLCHECKER_S1.dsk - This is Pinpoint Spelling Checker, version 1.0, April 1986.
PINPOINT_SPELLCHECKER_S2(DICT).dsk

REPORTWORKS_GEN.dsk - report generator for use with AppleWorks. 1985, Megahaus.
REPORTWORKS_PROG.dsk

SENSIBLE_SPELLER_4.0C(vol01).2mg - I had some of the original DOS-based Sensible Speller programs, along with their dictionaries. Asimov seemed to have newer versions.
SENSIBLE_SPELLER_4.0E(vol01)_hr.2mg
SENSIBLE_SPELLER_DICT_4.0C_S1.dsk
SENSIBLE_SPELLER_DICT_4.0C_S2.dsk
SENSIBLE_SPELLER_DICT_4.0E_S1.dsk
SENSIBLE_SPELLER_DICT_4.0E_S2.dsk

TELOFACTS_2.dsk - a program for creating/conducting surveys. 1982 Telos, version 1.1. And it's done in Pascal.
