There are X,Y, and Zmodem programs for the Apple II... I've used Hyperterminal to connect a pc to an apple II this way.
How about this...
On the apple II, type IN#2 (slot 2 serial card)
have a simple basic program receive the data, and allow the option to save.
Should be very simple. What communications program are you using on the PC side? You may be able to use Applewin, and have it communicate to a real apple II via SSC.
